Wadi Al-ma'awil is one of Al-batinah region

counties. It is in Al-Batinah south. It's borders are on the wilayats of Barka to the north, al Awabi to the south, Nakhl to the east and Rustaq to the west.. It is far away about 70km from Muscat. It has a population of 11259* people and 45% of theme are working in farming. They are quite friendly and peaceful. Eight villages are strung out neatly along either side of Wadi Al-Ma'awil Afiy (the centre of the wilayat), Habra, al Wasit, al Tawiyah, Muslimat, al Maraighah, al Lajal and al Ghubrah. The Wilayat of Wadi'l Ma'awil also comprises some of the Wadi Mistal villages. Honestly, it has a great attractions such as nice nature, incentive heritage, an old construction, the water is available there, many flajs, a strange tree called Alfansah and a quite strange thermal camp.
